Turning SIRI Insights into Real-World Smart Factories” webinar

NEWS

| March 2, 2026

The Hidden Cost of Disconnected Shop Floors

Across manufacturing sectors, many organisations have invested time and effort into assessing their digital readiness. Frameworks such as the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) help factories understand how mature they are across areas like connectivity, integration, and intelligence. These assessments provide valuable clarity on what should be improved.

Yet for many plants, the most difficult step comes after the assessment: turning those insights into tangible, day-to-day operational change.

In practice, the challenge is rarely a lack of ambition. Instead, factories struggle with execution on the shop floor. Machines operate in isolation, operators rely on paper-based workflows, and production data is captured manually or reviewed only at the end of a shift. As a result, decisions are reactive, performance losses remain hidden, and improvement efforts move slowly.

Our “Turning SIRI Insights into Real-World Smart Factories” webinar, led by BHAG Digital, explores how manufacturers can bridge this execution gap by focusing on real-time shop floor execution and vertical integration. Rather than large, multi-year transformation programmes, the session examines how a plug-and-play Manufacturing Execution System (MES) can connect machines, operators, and enterprise systems in a practical, incremental way.

Participants will see how real-time machine and process data enables continuous visibility into production performance, downtime causes, and order execution. By digitally linking shop floor activities with planning and enterprise systems, manufacturers can establish a single source of operational truth and act on issues as they occur—not after the fact.

Participants will also hear a real-world case where a manufacturing company, in partnership with BHAG Digital, replaced paper-based production processes with live digital execution across four production lines. With BEEDIGIT, operators now execute production orders digitally, while supervisors monitor real-time KPIs on an interactive dashboard, covering output, OEE, speed, and energy usage. This shift eliminated manual duplication, improved traceability, and moved decision-making from delayed end-of-shift reporting to live, actionable insights that support faster, more informed responses on the shop floor.

Key Takeaways:

Understand what SIRI is and how readiness insights relate to everyday shop floor operations

Learn how real-time execution and vertical integration help manufacturers act on digital maturity findings

See how practical MES deployment supports visibility, control, and continuous improvement without complex IT projects

Who Should Attend:

This session is designed for plant managers, operations leaders, automation and digitalisation managers, supply chain leaders, and manufacturing executives seeking practical ways to move from assessment to execution. It will also benefit INCIT-Certified Assessors, consultants, and system integrators supporting manufacturers in their Industry X.0 and operational excellence journeys.
