AIMRI is a globally recognised tool that allows companies to assess their AI maturity, benchmark against international peers, and adopt best practices from around the world.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the agreement, Swinburne will also become an approved training and certification provider for INCIT\u2019s <strong>Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI)<\/strong>, an assessment widely adopted across more than 30 countries to measure manufacturers\u2019 digital maturity and readiness for Industry 4.0.<\/p>\n<h3>A leader in innovation and industry collaboration<\/h3>\n<p>Swinburne University of Technology is renowned for connecting science and technology with business and the community. At the centre of this mission is its Factory of the Future, a state-of-the-art Industry 4.0 facility established in 2015. The centre co-creates innovative solutions with industry, providing a gateway for research, innovation, education, and training. It has already helped more than 650 small and medium-sized enterprises embrace advanced digital technologies and transform their operations.<\/p>\n<h3>Driving AI adoption in manufacturing<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Vikram Sachdeva<\/strong>, Director of Manufacturing Excellence and Transformation at Swinburne Factory of the Future, said the collaboration will strengthen Australian manufacturers\u2019 ability to compete in an era of rapid technological change.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cThis international partnership is poised to complement our nation-first digital transformation programme, delivering even greater value to the Australian SME manufacturing sector.\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><strong>Dr. Jesmond Hong<\/strong>, Chief Operating Officer at INCIT, added that the partnership brings critical tools to Australian industry at a pivotal time.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cAustralia\u2019s manufacturing sector is entering a critical phase where adopting AI and digital technologies will determine future competitiveness.
