Wednesday, 12 June 2024, Singapore – The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) presented a special presentation at the recent International Smart Industry Index Promotion Conference held in Suzhou Industrial Park, China.
Held in April 2024, the event was hosted by the Economic and Development Committee of Suzhou Industrial Park and co-organised by the Digital Economy Association and Bosch Empowerment Center. The conference garnered active participation from over 40 esteemed manufacturing companies based in the Suzhou Industrial Park.
INCIT delivered a presentation delving into the intricacies of international industrial transformation in the new era, covering topics such as the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), smart industry practices, and the state of manufacturing progress today. Adding depth to the discussions, Bosch Empowerment Center offered specialised interpretation and guidance on Jiangsu Province’s star-level cloud application, while TÜV SÜD provided insights into the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) Project in China.
SIRI is the world’s first independent digital maturity prioritisation index, specifically designed to assist manufacturers worldwide in starting, scaling, and sustaining their digital transformation initiatives and journeys.
As the manufacturing landscape evolves and technological advancements reshape the industry, frameworks like SIRI play a crucial role in guiding manufacturers to maintain and foster sustainable growth while continuously innovating. This ensures companies can remain competitive in the global market.

Highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts, an on-site awarding ceremony was held to celebrate the strategic partnership between INCIT and TÜV SÜD China.
