INCIT organiseerde een COSIRI Assessor Training Class op Mauritius, een belangrijke mijlpaal in de uitbreiding van duurzame productiepraktijken in de regio. De sessie bracht 19 professionals uit de maakindustrie bijeen, waaronder vertegenwoordigers uit de textiel-, verf-, chemie-, logistieke en zelfs juridische sector; allen wilden ze hun kennis van duurzaamheid in industri\u00eble productie verdiepen.<\/p>\n

De deelnemers kregen waardevolle inzichten in de Consumer Sustainability Industry Readiness Index (COSIRI) en de bijbehorende praktische tools en frameworks. COSIRI is ontworpen om productiefaciliteiten te beoordelen op 24 duurzaamheidsdimensies en helpt organisaties bij het identificeren van belangrijke verbetermogelijkheden op weg naar Net Zero.<\/p>\n

De training, die deel uitmaakte van het Certified COSIRI Assessor Programme, voorzag deelnemers van fundamentele kennis over duurzame productie, evenals inzicht in het faciliteren van assessments en het ontwikkelen van strategische roadmaps.
