INCIT is honored to host an Indian Industry Delegation comprising over 30 top business leaders at INCIT Singapore!

In a powerful demonstration of global collaboration and industrial innovation, the International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) had the distinct honor of hosting a distinguished delegation of over 30 top Indian business leaders in Singapore. The delegation, comprising senior representatives from India’s leading manufacturing companies, was led by the Honorable Industry Minister of India, and included senior representatives from India’s leading industry associations—FICCI, CII, and ASSOCHAM.

This visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening bilateral industrial ties between India and Singapore, and in advancing the shared vision for a digitally empowered and globally competitive manufacturing sector.

Forging Strategic Collaborations

The visit served as a platform for deep engagement on the localisation and implementation of INCIT’s internationally recognised frameworks and tools—including the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI), the Artificial Intelligence Maturity Readiness Index (AIMRI), the Consumer Sector Readiness Index (COSIRI), and the Operational Excellence Readiness Index (OPERI). These tools are designed to enable industries to assess, transform, and benchmark their digital maturity across various domains.

The discussions centered around how these frameworks can be tailored to accelerate the digital transformation of India’s vast and diverse manufacturing ecosystem. As one of the fastest-growing industrial nations, India presents immense opportunities for scaling smart manufacturing initiatives across sectors.

A Vision for Industry 4.0

Speaking on the occasion, INCIT’s emphasised the importance of cross-border collaboration in the era of Industry 4.0. “We are thrilled to host this distinguished delegation and to initiate meaningful dialogues that pave the way for long-term partnerships. The Indian manufacturing sector is poised for significant transformation, and we are committed to being a catalyst in this journey,” said Mr. Raimund Klein, CEO at INCIT.

Looking Ahead

Building on the momentum of this visit, INCIT will continue to engage closely with Indian industry leaders to translate strategic discussions into concrete actions. The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is collaborating with INCIT to support this shared vision and extend the reach and impact of these initiatives across the Indian manufacturing landscape.

The next phase will focus on targeted follow-up initiatives, including capability-building workshops, pilot assessments, and sector-specific consultations to support the effective deployment of INCIT’s frameworks across India’s manufacturing landscape.

This marks the beginning of a long-term effort to accelerate India’s Industry 4.0 transformation—empowering manufacturers to enhance their digital capabilities and compete more effectively on the global stage.
