October 2024, Brazil, Singapore – To empower businesses to embark on their own digital transformations, Brazil is spearheading the Brasil Mais Produtivo programme aimed to bolster the competitiveness of micro, small and medium companies. INCIT (International Centre for Industrial Transformation) proudly supports this initiative as it strongly aligns with the mission to champion digital transformation and drive industrial innovation and sustainability.
By leveraging this bold programme, Brazil aims not only to accelerate the development of its industrial sector but also to position its businesses at the forefront of global competitiveness. The Brasil Mais Produtivo programme promotes learning, innovation, and the continuous application of the new digital environment by companies critical for today’s manufacturers.
Earlier this year, INCIT partnered with SENAI (Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial), Latin America’s largest private network for vocational and technical education, to support the transformation of the Brazilian manufacturing industry. A pivotal development in this effort was SENAI’s adoption of the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) for the Brasil Mais Produtivo programme, marking a significant step towards advancing the region’s industrial innovation revolution.
Additionally, Certified SIRI Assessors are set to make a transformative impact on around 1,200 manufacturing companies by evaluating their Industry 4.0 readiness. These assessments will uncover gaps and growth opportunities, highlighting key areas for digital solution investments, thereby driving enhanced efficiency and innovation across the sector. Ultimately, the programme will impact 200,000 companies by 2027 with a range of services that include professional training and consulting.
In conclusion, the Brasil Mais Produtivo programme empowers Brazilian manufacturers to embrace their unique digital transformations, significantly enhancing their competitiveness in the global market. With INCIT’s steadfast support, the new initiative is set to revolutionise Brazil’s industrial landscape through digital transformation and innovation. The Brasil Mais Produtivo programme not only strengthens the Brazilian industry but also significantly contributes to the nation’s economic development.
