Revolutionising Manufacturing through AI Preparedness

AIMRI Framework

How AIMRI Works for You?

Artificial Intelligence Maturity Readiness Index (AIMRI) is a framework used to measure how prepared an industry is to adopt and implement AI technologies effectively. It evaluates factors like AI Purpose, Technology & Data Foundation and Intelligent Enterprise captured in the Framework as 3 Building Blocks and then detailed into 10 Pillars and 20 Dimensions.

AIMRI evaluates AI maturity across three core building blocks and eight strategic pillars, providing a structured roadmap for AI adoption and scaling.

By assessing readiness across 12/20 dimensions, AIMRI provides a customised roadmap with best-practice benchmarking, strategic recommendations, and priority initiatives to accelerate AI adoption.

AI Purpose:

AI initiatives must align with business objectives, ethical considerations, and regulatory compliance. AIMRI examines AI risk management, compliance, and workforce transformation strategies.

Technology & Data Foundation:

This block assesses AI infrastructure, data lifecycle, and model management capabilities. Companies need a strong foundation of structured data, cloud architecture, and AI model lifecycle management to enable scalable AI adoption.

Intelligent Enterprise:

AI should enhance decision-making, operations, and workforce collaboration. AIMRI evaluates AI process adaptation, augmentation, and collaboration models to drive business transformation.

AIMRI 12 vs 20 –
How to make an informed decision?

Scope of Assessment

Light-weight version of the assessment, covering only 12 out of the 20 dimensions, designed to provide a foundational understanding and readiness for Al.

Target Audience

Suited for manufacturing companies that aim to establish a basic foundation for their Al journey and are primarily looking to acquire Al capabilities rather than developing them in-house given limited internal resources for Al development. This approach may be particularly relevant for small to medium-sized enterprises.

Objective and Outcome

Helps manufacturing companies ensure they are well-equipped to use Al technologies and navigate an ireasingly Al-driven industry.

Scope of Assessment

Comprehensive assessment that covers all 20 dimensions, offering a more robust and elaborate foundation for Al integration.

Target Audience

Intended for organisations that aspire to become leaders in Al. This approach is particularly suited for companies positioning Al as a strategic differentiator, with dedicated Al resources and ambition to drive transformation through in-house Al development. Often these companies have at least some Al use cases deployed.

Objective and Outcome

Aims to build a sophisticated foundation to leverage Al effectively, positioning companies as best-in-class Al leaders in the industry.
