Fast Track for CSAs and CCAs
Experienced Certified SIRI Assessors (CSAs) and Certified COSIRI Assessors (CCAs) with a minimum of 5 assessments completed within the past 2 years are eligible to become Certified OPERI Assessors (COAs).
What makes it so seamless? Because OPERI bands are mapped to SIRI bands! For example, achieving an OPERI Band 5 is equivalent to a SIRI Band 1, recognising your existing skillset and qualification.
Those who do not fulfil these requirements are not eligible for the Fast Track, and will need to apply to become a COA as a New Candidate under the Aspiring Assessor Track.
Comprehensive Guide for Aspiring Assessors
For aspiring assessors, in order to excel in the role of a Certified OPERI Assessor (COA), you'll need a solid foundation in 3 key areas, which will be evaluated at the discretion of the Training and Certification Centre that you have registered under:
-
Deep Domain Expertise: A strong understanding of how businesses operate is crucial. You should be familiar with the inner workings of companies across various industries.
-
Lean & Kaizen Fundamentals: Knowledge of Lean principles and Kaizen methodologies will enable you to help businesses streamline processes and improve efficiency.
-
Digital Transformation Acumen: In today’s world, digital transformation is essential. A grasp of basic digital tools and strategies will empower you to guide businesses into the future.
You will also need to go through a 1-hour practical case study exam in addition to the other prerequisites.
A Word of Caution for Aspiring Assessors
While we encourage your ambition, we also want to set you up for success. If you struggle with any of these key areas—Deep Domain Expertise, Lean & Kaizen Fundamentals, or Digital Transformation Acumen—we strongly recommend postponing becoming a COA for now. To be truly effective, you need to lead with confidence and expertise. By first building a strong foundation, you’ll be better equipped to provide real value and make a lasting impact.
