國際工業轉型中心（INCIT）已簽署協議，與菲律賓貿易和工業部（DTI）合作，推動菲律賓全境採用智慧工業就緒指數（SIRI）框架，以加速製造業的轉型。
根據今天在2022年亞太工業轉型高峰會（ITAP）上舉行的正式儀式上簽署的這項新協議，此次合作將為貿工部新的科學、技術和創新驅動型產業戰略做出貢獻，該戰略旨在利用創新來擴大該國的經濟機會，並催化包容、可持續和有彈性的工業化。亞洲開發銀行（ADB）將為菲律賓各地製造工廠推出智慧工業就緒指數提供資金支持。

INCIT 執行長兼創辦人 Raimund Klein 認為，智慧工業準備指數及其相關工具、框架和計畫將對菲律賓製造業產生切實的正面影響，促進工業 4.0 的採用，幫助提高生產力和發展產業，使個人製造商、更廣泛的產業以及菲律賓政府和民眾受益。
他表示：“智能工業就緒指數的採用將使菲律賓各地的製造商能夠充分釋放第四次工業革命的潛力，從而快速發展壯大。這反過來將提高生產力，幫助改善全國人民的生活水平，並為菲律賓製造業未來的成功奠定基礎。”
此次合作標誌著東協國家首次與INCIT合作，採用智慧產業就緒指數框架作為國家指數，也代表亞銀作為世界經濟論壇全球智慧產業就緒指數倡議的一部分於2021年啟動的試點計畫成功擴大規模。亞洲開發銀行已選擇智慧工業就緒指數作為支持亞太地區發展中成員國製造業社會經濟發展的重要工具。
菲律賓貿易和工業部競爭力與創新組副部長拉斐麗塔·M·阿爾達巴表示，菲律賓全國採用智慧產業就緒指數對於實現基於可靠和準確的數據和見解的產業轉型至關重要。
透過科技創新和關鍵數位技術的運用，菲律賓的產業將能夠更好地應對國內和出口市場的競爭，並為工業轉型鋪平道路。在這方面，智慧工業就緒指數的運用對於支持正在向新技術轉型的企業和產業至關重要，因為它能夠加深對數位轉型的認識和理解，並幫助企業評估其技術就緒情況，並製定企業層面的工業4.0路線圖。
Smart Industry Readiness Index provides a framework to help solve every production problem, whether across silos, processes, technologies, or the organisation itself, while at the same time increasing productivity. It allows manufacturers to prioritise their key focus areas, so that resources can be adequately allocated to deliver the greatest impact.
