The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) is an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) institution which champions manufacturing transformation. As an independent non-profit entity, INCIT (pronounced as “insight”) collaborates with both public and private sector manufacturing-related organisations to support industrial transformation, to enable global manufacturing to become more resilient and productive, and better positioned for future success.

Jeremy Jurgens

World Economic Forum

Jeremy Jurgens is Managing Director & Head of the Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. He is responsible for the Member and Partner companies essential to the mission of the Forum as the International Organisation for Public-Private Cooperation. His responsibilities include oversight of all industry initiatives, innovation and technology pioneer communities, the Forum’s offices in China, India and Japan as well as the Centre for Cybersecurity. He has served in various functions since 1999 including Chief Information Officer, Chief Representative China, the head of the Annual Meeting in Davos and the architect of the Forum’s Strategic Intelligence Platform.

Prior to joining the Forum, Jeremy Jurgens has worked at Microsoft, Patagonia and the Japanese Ministry of Finance. He holds a Master in Education from Harvard University and a BA in Economics and International Relations, from Claremont McKenna College

Brajesh Panth

Asia Development Bank

Brajesh Panth is the Chief of Education Sector Group at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). He provides technical leadership to the education sector group (EdSG) in ADB, leads the preparation of the EdSG work plan, and facilitates collaboration across sector and thematic groups in ADB and with external partners. He has over 25 years of progressive experience as project team leader, head of project administration unit, lead education specialist, and chief of EdSG, in the education sector including sector assessment, project processing, implementation, evaluation, and policy dialogue, covering all levels—primary, secondary, technical and vocational education and training (TVET), and higher education. Besides coordinating and contributing to several publications, Mr. Panth has made several presentations in different fora and contributed to policy analysis, policy dialogue, and analytical work pertaining to different aspects of education reform. He holds masters and doctorate degrees in education administration, planning and social policy from Harvard University, USA

Francisco Betti joined the World Economic Forum in May 2015. He is a Member of the Executive Committee and currently heads the Platform for Shaping the Future of Advanced Manufacturing and Production. The Platform is helping global leaders from business, government, academia and civil society anticipate the impact of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies on manufacturing and value chains. Leaders engaged in the Platform set and drive the global manufacturing agenda and incubate new pilots and partnerships to ensure a more productive, sustainable and inclusive future of production for all.

Prior to joining the World Economic Forum, Francisco worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers SA in Geneva, Switzerland, primarily on management consulting assignments for international organisations.

His strong business acumen, solid education and progressive executive management experience enable him to build highly efficient teams in multinational organisations that work collaboratively to meet organisational goals efficiently.

Ashikin Ahmad

Chief Financial Officer

Ashikin Ahmad is a visionary and an advocate of quality in all her undertakings. As INCIT’s Chief Financial Officer, she is responsible for the organisation’s financial operations, including accounting, financial planning and corporate development. She has 16 years of experience in commercial and contract management, bid management, international trade, tax and financial management, and has driven and implemented finance strategies across the region in her previous roles.

Key areas of expertise and achievements:
Deep knowledge and understanding of financial and corporate strategy development, with extensive regional management experience. Founder of circular fashion platform RE:VIVE NOW and Alumni Member of Switzerland’s stars – for Leaders of the Next Generation. Bachelor’s degree from Curtin University.

Heshik Nandan

Co-founder and Chief Information Officer

Heshik Nandan is an IT professional responsible for the management, implementation and usability of IT. His focus is on developing scalable technical solutions that improve existing business processes throughout the organisation. Before INCIT, he worked as a solution architect providing software and infrastructure solutioning, primarily focused on government clients in Singapore.

Key areas of expertise and achievements:
Experience and knowledge in developing and designing products and projects for government agencies and start-ups. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering & post-graduate diploma in system analysis from the National University of Singapore.

Vikram Kalkat

Co-founder and Vice President

Vikram Kalkat is a founding member of INCIT and Head of Members & Data Governance. He supports the organisation’s vision to create global institutional membership and manage all aspects of data governance. He has over 20 years of experience in private and public sector business consulting, account sales management and programme management across various industries, including mining, chemicals, banking, and telecommunications. Previous roles include lead at Kaspersky Industrial Cybersecurity Solutions for the Asia-Pacific region and IBM worldwide.

Key areas of expertise and achievements:
Author of several strategy and risk whitepapers; recently published “Digital Spine: A Study in Business Strategy” which tackles issues related to Industry 4.0, regular speaker at industry conferences on business, Industry 4.0 and cybersecurity strategy related issues. Postgraduate degree from the University of Cambridge, UK.
