30 July 2024, Brazil, Singapore –INCIT (International Centre for Industrial Transformation) is proud to announce a strategic partnership with SENAI (Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial) to support the transformation of the Brazilian manufacturing industry.

Since this May, SENAI has moved forward with adopting the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) for Brasil Mais Produtivo, the most comprehensive program to support business productivity and digital transformation in Brazil. The SIRI Assessment will be the first step in the SENAI digital transformation consultancy partnership with INCIT. Certified SIRI Assessors will support 1,200 manufacturing companies in the region by conducting assessments to uncover gaps and opportunities for development. The assessment will score each company’s overall Industry 4.0 readiness and ultimately highlight areas for investment in digital solutions.

Results from these assessments are critical information that will be used to match manufacturers with appropriate suppliers of digital technologies. Additionally, development of an investment plan and access to financing lines with improved interest rates for the implementation of the investment plan will be provided. Technical support will also be on hand to unlock efficiencies and effectiveness during the adoption of innovative and transformative digital technologies.

Mr. Raimund Klein, Founder and CEO of INCIT said: “We are delighted and excited to partner with SENAI to introduce SIRI to Brazil, signifying SIRI’s debut in its first country in Latin America. This is in accordance with Brazil’s government initiative, the Brasil Mais Produtivo program, which promotes learning and the continuous application of the new digital environment by companies.”

The Brasil Mais Produtivo program is coordinated by the Ministry of Development, Industry, Commerce and Services (MDIC) in partnership with Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (SENAI), Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas Empresas (Sebrae), Agência Brasileira de Desenvolvimento Industrial (ABDI), Financiadora de Estudos e Projetos (Finep), Associação Brasileira de Pesquisa e Inovação Industrial (Embrapii) and Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social (BNDES). With an investment of more than R$ 2 billion, the program will affect 200,000 companies by 2027 with a range of services that includes professional training and consulting.

The Director of SENAI, Gustavo Leal, recognises the relevance of the partnership for the success of the program. “This strategic alliance propels us toward a future where over a thousand Brazilian manufacturers will leapfrog into the digital age. We are committed to this significant step in fostering an industry that’s smarter, more efficient, and ready for the challenges of tomorrow”.
