As a member of the GREDEG CNRS research laboratory at Université Côte d’Azur, he has spearheaded efforts to integrate digital technologies with sustainable development. His interdisciplinary approach bridges economics, digital innovation, and ecological sustainability making him a sought-after advisor on transformative initiatives. A pivotal figure in Africa’s digital evolution, Dr. Ben Youssef co-founded the African Association of Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0 (AISMA) and has contributed to impactful research initiatives with the Economic Research Forum. His work has been instrumental in shaping digital transformation strategies and advancing sustainability across Africa and the Middle East.
Dr. Ben Youssef’s influence extends to global organizations such as UNIDO, UN-HABITAT, ITC, and UNDP. His contributions to these entities include designing and advising programs that align digital advancements with sustainable development goals, focusing on Industry 4.0, skills development, and ecological innovation. A significant milestone in his career is his representation of Tunisia at United Nations climate conferences (COP 23–29).
