COSIRI-24
Introducing COSIRI-24
COSIRI-10 is an environmental assessment framework that assesses the environmental impact of a manufacturing site. It assesses the environmental performance of GHG emissions, water consumption, energy consumption, waste management, and pollution levels. COSIRI-24 expands on this by including additional aspects of sustainability, such as supply chain management and regulatory compliance. Together, these assessments provide a broader view of a company’s sustainability practices.
Studies have shown that 70% to 90% of manufacturing sites’ total GHG emission come from the value chain. This includes the upstream supply chain and downstream users. COSIRI-10 assesses if suppliers and logistics in your value chain are included in your GHG reduction.
COSIRI-10 focuses on the Sustainable Business Processes building block, assessing areas in Operation, Supply Chain, Transportation, Circularity, and Product Lifecycle, and taking into consideration the environmental impact of these areas. It is the ideal assessment for new SMEs and MNCs seeking interim sustainability checks.
