Dr. Adel Ben Youssef Joins INCIT Advisory Board

INCIT is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Adel Ben Youssef to its advisory board. A global authority on digitalization and green transformation, Dr. Ben Youssef’s extensive expertise will bolster INCIT’s mission to drive innovation and sustainability in critical industries worldwide.

Dr. Ben Youssef’s remarkable career spans academia, policy advocacy, and strategic consulting. As a member of the GREDEG CNRS research laboratory at Université Côte d’Azur, he has spearheaded efforts to integrate digital technologies with sustainable development. His interdisciplinary approach bridges economics, digital innovation, and ecological sustainability making him a sought-after advisor on transformative initiatives. A pivotal figure in Africa’s digital evolution, Dr. Ben Youssef co-founded the African Association of Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0 (AISMA) and has contributed to impactful research initiatives with the Economic Research Forum. His work has been instrumental in shaping digital transformation strategies and advancing sustainability across Africa and the Middle East.

Dr. Ben Youssef’s influence extends to global organizations such as UNIDO, UN-HABITAT, ITC, and UNDP. His contributions to these entities include designing and advising programs that align digital advancements with sustainable development goals, focusing on Industry 4.0, skills development, and ecological innovation. A significant milestone in his career is his representation of Tunisia at United Nations climate conferences (COP 23–29). As a negotiator, Dr. Ben Youssef played a critical role in aligning digital strategies with climate sustainability goals, advocating for integrated digital-ecological solutions within international frameworks.

Ranked among the top 2% of researchers globally by Scholar GPS, Dr. Ben Youssef’s academic contributions have shaped the discourse on sustainable digital transitions. With over 100 published articles, his research continues to influence the integration of digital and green technologies. In joining INCIT, Dr. Ben Youssef brings a unique blend of expertise in policy design, academic insight, and strategic leadership. His addition to the advisory board aligns perfectly with INCIT’s vision to accelerate the global convergence of digital and green innovations.
