The International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT) is integrating two new additions into the Readiness Index: a redesigned SIRI Single Site Report and a multilingual AI support chatbot, both live from 11 August 2026. The updates reflect INCIT’s ongoing commitment to giving industry the clearest possible picture of its transformation journey and the support to act on it.
The updates build on the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI), the world’s first Industry 4.0 assessment framework, which has been used by manufacturers in over 60 countries to benchmark and guide their digital transformation journeys.
A Report Built to Answer “So What?”
For years, a SIRI assessment has told manufacturers exactly where they stand on their Industry 4.0 journey. The redesigned SIRI Single Site Report goes a step further, connecting maturity to measurable business outcomes and turning insight into a defensible plan of action.
The report is still built on SIRI’s rigorous 16-dimension assessment structure, but introduces four new capabilities:
- The EPIK framework, which rolls up 12 operational metrics across efficiency, quality, maintenance reliability, resource use, and agility into a single EPIK Score — quantifying, for the first time, whether a company’s transformation efforts are moving the numbers that matter to daily operations.
- Profile Matching, which benchmarks a company against real peers rather than a global average, automatically factoring in Industry Cluster, Economic Zone, Geographical Alliance, and Employment Size Group.
- A dedicated Transformation Roadmap, giving manufacturers four clearly prioritised dimensions to act on, each backed by cost and KPI reasoning.
- An expanded Analytics section, comprising nine new sub-modules including an EPIK radar, cost profile benchmarking, business objectives comparison, and Archetype Positioning — mapping a company’s maturity and consistency onto one of four industry archetypes.
“The redesigned report changes what assessors are able to bring into the room,” said Mr Raimund Klein, CEO of INCIT. “A repeat client no longer has to take an assessor’s word that the previous cycle’s priorities were the right ones — the report now shows it. And for a first-time client, the picture of where to focus first is clearer and more defensible than ever.”
Multilingual AI Support, Built Into the Platform
Alongside the new report, INCIT is rolling out an AI support chatbot directly within the Readiness Index. The chatbot is designed to help assessors resolve platform functions in real time — from locating a specific report section, to understanding how a feature works, to troubleshooting an issue — without leaving the platform or waiting on an email exchange.
The chatbot supports multiple languages, allowing assessors around the world to ask questions in their preferred language.
Availability
Both the redesigned SIRI Single Site Report and the AI support chatbot are live on the Readiness Index from 11 August 2026.
