INCIT concludes Smart Industry Readiness Index Training Programme for 100 candidates in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Monday, 29 April 2024, Singapore – In the stride towards enhancing Industry 4.0 adoption globally, the International Centre for Industrial Transformation (INCIT), in collaboration with the British Standards Institution (BSI), has successfully concluded its 5-day Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) Training Programme in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) last month. With the successful completion of this event, INCIT reaffirms its commitment to fostering Industry 4.0 expertise and innovation within the Kingdom.

The session garnered widespread participation from institutions such as the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), King Saud University (KSU), and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

Participants showcased their dedication and proficiency in mastering Industry 4.0 principles and applications, highlighting the programme’s effectiveness in nurturing talent and empowering industry professionals with forward-thinking concepts and knowledge. They also gained valuable insights into the strategic integration of digital processes, technologies, and operations into their organisations and respective fields.

The Smart Industry Readiness Index Programme is meticulously designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to thrive in the era of rapid industrial and technological advancements. The comprehensive programme curriculum covers content on Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing principles, digitalisation, Smart Industry Readiness Index’s frameworks and tools, business consulting, the methodology for conducting Official Smart Industry Readiness Index Assessments, and more.

The successful conclusion of this event highlights the effectiveness of the Smart Industry Readiness Index Programme in nurturing talent and promoting digital transformation in KSA. As the Kingdom continues to prioritise technological advancement and embrace digitalisation, the trained workforce emerges as a vital asset in driving productivity, efficiency, and competitiveness.
