The International Centre for Industrial Transformation, or INCIT (pronounced as “insight”), is an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) institution which champions manufacturing transformation. As an independent non-profit entity, INCIT collaborates with both public and private sector manufacturing related organisations to support industrial transformation and enable global manufacturing to become more resilient, productive, and better positioned for future success.

Raimund Klein

Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Head of the Board of Directors

Raimund Klein is a highly skilled individual with experience in manufacturing design and global supply digitisation across Europe and Asia. He excels at identifying opportunities to improve, enhance and optimise processes through data analysis. His strong business acumen, solid education and progressive executive management experience enable him to build highly efficient teams in multinational organisations that work collaboratively to meet organisational goals efficiently.

Key areas of expertise and achievements:Business transformation, business growth models, commercial strategy, corporate communications, stakeholder engagement, product management, digital services, process changes, strategic sales planning, factory management, industrial marketing, regulatory development, key performance indicators, global team building, staff education programmes.

Heshik Nandan

Co-founder and Chief Information Officer

Heshik Nandan is an IT professional responsible for the management, implementation and usability of IT. His focus is on developing scalable technical solutions that improve existing business processes throughout the organisation. Before INCIT, he worked as a solution architect providing software and infrastructure solutioning, primarily focused on government clients in Singapore.

Key areas of expertise and achievements:
Experience and knowledge in developing and designing products and projects for government agencies and start-ups. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering & post-graduate diploma in system analysis from the National University of Singapore.

Jesmond Hong

Chief Operating Officer

Jesmond Hong is an accomplished executive known for his operational excellence and strategic leadership. As Chief Operating Officer, Jesmond oversees INCIT's day-to-day operations, spearhead initiatives to enhance efficiency, maximise productivity, ensure seamless execution of strategic objectives and foster collaboration and innovation between INCIT and its partners.

Prior to INCIT, Jesmond served as manager for business development and operations, playing a pivotal role in driving new business strategies, expansion of customer base and streamline financial portfolio of the organisation to maximise profits and minimise overheads.

Jeremy Jurgens

World Economic Forum

Jeremy Jurgens is Managing Director & Head of the Forum’s Centre for the 4th Industrial Revolution. He is responsible for the Member and Partner companies essential to the mission of the Forum as the International Organisation for Public-Private Cooperation. His responsibilities include oversight of all industry initiatives, innovation and technology pioneer communities, the Forum’s offices in China, India and Japan as well as the Centre for Cybersecurity. He has served in various functions since 1999 including Chief Information Officer, Chief Representative China, the head of the Annual Meeting in Davos and the architect of the Forum’s Strategic Intelligence Platform.

Prior to joining the Forum, Jurgens has worked at Microsoft, Patagonia and the Japanese Ministry of Finance. He holds a Master in Education from Harvard University and a BA in Economics and International Relations, from Claremont McKenna College

Francisco Betti

World Economic Forum

Francisco Betti joined the World Economic Forum in May 2015. He is a Member of the Executive Committee and currently heads the Platform for Shaping the Future of Advanced Manufacturing and Production. The Platform is helping global leaders from business, government, academia and civil society anticipate the impact of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies on manufacturing and value chains. Leaders engaged in the Platform set and drive the global manufacturing agenda and incubate new pilots and partnerships to ensure a more productive, sustainable and inclusive future of production for all.

Prior to joining the World Economic Forum, Francisco worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers SA in Geneva, Switzerland, primarily on management consulting assignments for international organisations.

Dr. Adel Ben Youssef

Université Côte d'Azur and GREDEG

Dr. Adel Ben Youssef is a renowned expert in digitalization and green transformation, blending innovation with sustainability. As an economist and member of GREDEG CNRS at Université Côte d'Azur, he has advanced digital and ecological strategies globally. He co-founded the African Association of AI and Industry 4.0 and collaborates with the Economic Research Forum, promoting sustainable practices in Africa and the Middle East. Dr. Ben Youssef has advised organizations like UNIDO, UNDP, and UN-HABITAT, shaping strategies for Industry 4.0, skills development, and sustainability. A key negotiator for Tunisia at UN climate conferences (COP 23–29), he championed integrating digital advancements with climate goals. Ranked in the top 2% of researchers globally, his 100+ publications influence the future of sustainable digital transitions. Combining academic insight and strategic leadership, he is a driving force in the convergence of digital and green innovations worldwide.
